Ideal for PCU and step-down RNs looking for travel nursing assignments in Massachusetts and Boston-area healthcare jobs./n /n/nJob Details/n /n Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (near Boston; easy access to Boston-area amenities)/n Assignment Length: 8 weeks (travel contract)/n Start Date: March 23, 2026/n Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)/n Shifts per Week: 3/n Hours per Week: 36/n Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required/n Scheduling: Weekly start dates (Mondays)/n Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470–$2,600/week/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n Active RN license (must meet facility credentialing requirements)/n Minimum 1 year recent PCU, step-down, or similar acute care experience/n Epic EMR experience required (documentation and charting proficiency)/n Competent to administer and titrate pressors and other critical care medications/n BLS (AHA) required/n ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred/n Level 1 trauma experience preferred (required if no prior travel nursing experience)/n Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be considered/n Ability to pass day-one clinical testing (Relias practice tests available)/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU/step-down patients; manage acuity typical of progressive care and float settings/n Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed (float RN responsibilities)/n Manage patient ratios typically between 1:3–1:5 based on acuity/n Float to different units in 4-hour blocks during shifts to meet clinical demand/n Administer and titrate pressors and other critical medications safely per hospital protocols/n Document all care accurately using Epic EMR and follow hospital documentation standards/n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case management, respiratory therapy) to optimize patient outcomes/n Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements/n /n/n Apply now to be considered for this travel nursing PCU opportunity in Burlington, MA.
