Marketing Intern

The Erosion Company is a leading provider of erosion control solutions, dedicated to preserving and protecting the environment through innovative products and services. We are the largest and most experienced erosion control contracting company in the Southeastern United States. Every day we mobilize crews across the region to tackle jobs of all sizes, helping protect the environment and ensure site compliance on construction sites.

We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at The Erosion Company. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing within the environmental solutions sector. This opportunity will be a hybrid of majority remote work, but it may also consist of visiting sites across the Atlanta area. Duration: 2 and a half months (May 18th - July 31st, 2026) (Summer paid internship).

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging content for digital platforms, including social media posts, blog articles, and website updates, to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
• Social Media Management: Support in managing and monitoring social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer demographics, and construction/DOT hotspots to inform marketing strategies and identify potential opportunities for growth.
• Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, digital advertising, and promotional events.
• Graphic Design: Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other marketing materials to communicate key messages effectively.
• Data Analysis: Help analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and generate insights for optimizing future initiatives.
• Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the marketing department, such as organizing files, managing databases, and coordinating meetings or events.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Construction or Agricultural related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and data analysis software is a plus.
