As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision. What’s in it for you Site Location: Henderson, NV Set schedule: 40-hour work week. Availability to work any of the 7 days of the work week, and holidays as needed. Shift 1: Day 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (workdays discussed during interview) Shift 2: Swing 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (workdays discussed during interview) Shift 3: Swing 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (workdays discussed during interview) Shift 4: Grave 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (workdays discussed during interview) Competitive hourly wage of $17.70/hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees) Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with employer matching; paid holidays; disability coverage; life insurance Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Response Security Guard Provide excellent customer service to clients Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site Respond quickly to critical situations Provide access control by screening guests, employees, vendors, and others; screen people upon exiting Patrol the grounds inside and outside the facility by car, golf cart, and/or on foot Issue appropriate badges at the facility Read and write detailed reports effectively Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards Proficient in working with electronics Maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment; follow proper procedures Certified in CPR/AED or able to obtain within two weeks after offer Qualifications for Response Security Guard Authorized to work in the U.S. High School Diploma or GED required Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations Strong problem-solving and responsive skills Ability to work outdoors in all weather; sit, stand, or walk for long periods Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure At least 21 years of age or older as required by law Valid driver’s license At least 2 years of security experience, with at least 1 year in construction security Valid PILB in hand CPR/AED/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 1 week In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
