Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Join the Citadel Security USA Team Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to support security operations at a critical infrastructure construction project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This position is responsible for helping maintain a secure job site through regular patrols, controlled site access, detailed reporting, and prompt response to security concerns.
This opportunity is well suited for individuals who remain alert, communicate professionally, and can confidently work with minimal supervision while following established post orders and client expectations.
Primary Responsibilities Site Security - Conduct scheduled foot patrols throughout the construction site and surrounding grounds
- Monitor perimeter fencing, entry gates, work zones, equipment storage areas, and parking locations
- Maintain a visible security presence to discourage theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry
- Identify unsafe conditions and report hazards that could affect personnel or site operations
Access Management - Verify authorization before allowing visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel onto the property
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the site
- Enforce established access control procedures and client security requirements
- Report on unauthorized access attempts immediately
Incident Response - Respond professionally to security incidents, disturbances, alarms, or suspicious activity
- Notify supervisors of significant events and coordinate with emergency responders when necessary
- Follow site-specific emergency procedures and company policies
- Help preserve a safe and orderly work environment during unexpected situations
Reporting & Documentation - Completely required patrol documentation every 30 minutes throughout the shift
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Record observations, security concerns, and actions taken using company reporting procedures
- Communicating important information during shift turnover
Required Qualifications - Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to pass all required background screening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in construction sites, industrial, commercial, or critical infrastructure security
- Experience conducting patrols and monitoring controlled-access facilities
- Knowledge of report writing and electronic documentation systems
- Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
