Job Description

The client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the modernization and enhancement of enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform. As part of an ongoing modernization initiative, legacy workflows and business processes are being rebuilt and optimized using Salesforce best practices to create secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. This work supports mission-critical programs and ensures long-term sustainability, improved performance, and alignment with current enterprise standards.
The selected candidate will play a key role in building and enhancing Salesforce applications, improving automation and integrations, and ensuring alignment with modern development practices. This position requires strong hands-on Salesforce development skills, experience with integrations, and comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills & Experience

4-7+ years of Salesforce development experience, including:

Apex (classes, triggers, async Apex)
Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Aura
SOQL/SOSL and data modeling within Salesforce
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices (governor limits, performance considerations, secure coding)
Experience with Salesforce security and access controls (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing)
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs (REST/SOAP) and troubleshooting integration issues.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams (admins, product owners, QA, architects).


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, Administrator).
Experience supporting regulated or mission-critical systems and working in environments with strong governance/standards.
Experience with DevOps / CI-CD for Salesforce (e.g., Git-based workflows, packaging, release management).
Exposure to integration tooling or middleware (as applicable) and experience writing/maintaining technical documentation.
