Our high-volume pediatric office in Coconut Creek is seeking an experienced Portuguese-speaking Front Desk Assistant to support daily operations and ensure efficient patient flow.
This role is best suited for candidates who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing high call volume, and multitasking throughout the day.

Pay is based on experience, with higher rates offered to candidates with strong medical front desk experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in/out 80100+ patients daily in a professional and efficient manner.
• Manage high-volume phone lines while assisting patients in person.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments accurately.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update patient demographics.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Scan and manage documentation within EMR system.
• Support front office workflow and assist team as needed

Requirements (Please apply only if you meet ALL of the below):

• Fluent in Portuguese and English (required)
• A minimum of 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office
• Comfortable handling high patient volume and multitasking Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic knowledge of insurance verification and copay collection

Preferred:

• Pediatric office experience
• Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus)
