Since 1974, the school has been dedicated to providing quality education to Sumter, Lee, and Clarendon counties, as well as Shaw Air Force Base. With the Bible as our foundation, we are committed to teaching children academically, socially, and spiritually in order to “present every man perfect in Christ Jesus” (Col. 1:28).
Role Description
Beginning August 2026, this is a full-time on-site role for an Band Director at Sumter Christian School in Sumter, SC. The Band Director, who also serves as the Fine Arts Director, will be responsible for teaching 3 band classes, elementary music, fulfilling Fine Arts duties, and teaching an additional class or two based on qualifications and preferences.
