Blackout Security Services LLC (PPO #122466) is a licensed private patrol operator founded and operated by active law enforcement. We don't send guards. We deploy officers. Our team is held to a higher standard because our clients expect it.

Position Overview

We are looking for professional, reliable armed security officers for event security assignments in the Los Angeles area. This is a high-visibility, guest-facing role requiring composure, sound judgment, and a commanding presence. Show up sharp, stay alert, and represent Blackout Security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, armed presence throughout the event as a deterrent and rapid response resource
• Check in guests, verify credentials, and manage access control at entry points
• Monitor crowd flow and identify potential safety concerns before they escalate
• Conduct foot patrols of the venue interior and perimeter
• Respond calmly and decisively to incidents and coordinate with the lead officer on site
• Complete accurate, detailed post orders and incident reports when required
• Communicate clearly with event staff and client representatives

Requirements

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required, no exceptions)
• Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (required, no exceptions)
• Must provide and carry your own duty weapon and gear
• Clean professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (full shift)
• Punctual, dependable, and coachable
• Prior security experience is a plus but not required
